IGCC

As a world-leader in Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC)  power generation. We have already achieved commercial operation of a 200t/d pilot project and a 250MW demonstration plant.

IGCC achieves higher thermal efficiency and better performance through the conversion of coal into a synthesis gas (syngas). Unlike other coal-fuelled power generation systems, IGCC uses both steam and gas turbines to increase efficiency and reduce emissions.

As an experienced manufacturer of large industrial boilers (on which our gasifier technology is based) and a major player in the gas and steam market we are well placed to fully optimise the integration of the key core components of an IGCC power plant. 

We are able to offer G-class gas turbines in combination with our gasifier to reach a world leading IGCC output of over 500MW.
